Tonya Lamia founded Compass Partners in 2018 after her tenure with the State of Illinois. Tonya has nearly 20 years of experience with fundraising, board and investor relations, business operations, change management, and project and program leadership in the creative industries and public, private, and nonprofit sectors. She led the creation of Illinois Bicentennial and managed the statewide Commission on behalf of the Governor's Office. She has also worked in radio, at concert and entertainment venues, and for leading economic development agencies, including the Illinois Department of Commerce & Economic Opportunity, Schaumburg Business Association, and Rockford Area Economic Development Council. Tonya currently serves on the Greater Rockford Airport Authority Board of Commissioners and as Executive Director for The Parks Chamber of Commerce. She excels at fostering organizational values and creating unity of purpose across diverse constituencies.
Sam Yanover has a diverse and extensive background in the public and private sectors. Some of his most notable work is at the domestic and international level, having done advance work for the White House across the United States and world for President Barack Obama, Vice President Joe Biden, First Lady Michelle Obama, and presidential candidates Senator John Kerry, Senator John Edwards (to name a few), and high-profile celebrity surrogates. He also works locally as a political and operations advisor for state, county, and city legislators nationally. In addition to his political and government work, Sam has an extensive background in management and business. For ten years, he was the Director of Operations for RVS, a parking management and parking consulting firm, where he grew the business threefold during his tenure. He is also currently involved in developing many business ventures. As a life long musician, Dan Mahoney Sr has a great appreciation and true understanding for the wants and needs of musicians and industry professionals alike. In 2011, Dan co-founded Fort Knox Studios and 2112 Chicago, opening rehearsal space for bands looking for a more professional, safe, and clean alternative to poorly run, overpriced, rundown rehearsal facilities. As an executive manager, Dan developed, hired, and managed national departments of executives and staff. As a 10-year director of operations for B2B manufacturing businesses, Dan also successfully managed sales, payroll, inventory, receivables, staffing, and customer service.

David McAley is an accomplished entrepreneur who has personally developed and successfully guided a series of small and medium-sized businesses. David is known for his firm, sensitive, and deft team building talents. During a 17-year tenure with Radioworks, Inc., the company expanded five times and total revenue grew 20-fold. He negotiated and closed more than $50 Million in radio station transactions, and the company established unique and proprietary selling systems that were copied extensively as industry models. Most recently, David operated a multi-million-dollar, on-premise, special event marketing company that served multi-location retail clients. Over seven years, he expanded the company to a nationwide footprint and personally served as primary sales liaison with clients such as Verizon, Metro PCS, and Jackson Hewitt Tax Service. David is a veteran of the United States Naval Reserve where he served as Public Affairs Officer for a Seabee Battalion.
