Band Rehearsal Studios, Showcase Rooms, and Podcast Studios are stocked with tour-quality backline gear, and our high quality, acoustically sound environment is professionally staffed with experienced technicians and sound engineers.

The Backline Studios business model is proven profitable, leveraging lessons learned over eight years of owning and operating a massive 165,000 square foot music industry ecosystem in Chicago. With only the most profitable revenue drivers from that ecosystem and less than 15,000 square feet needed for each Backline Studios location, our business model is not only proven profitable, it’s also cost effective and scalable.

The Holding Company for Backline Studios is a smart investment, with a mature annual revenue forecast of over $1 Million for each location. Our first five locations will set the stage for increased organizational learning to reduce cost, decrease risk, and improve the ability of the organization to scale more quickly. Backline Studios will then leverage proven expansion strategies to scale beyond our initial market into markets nationally and internationally. This approach also increases understanding and buy-in to the systematized operations and drives consistent execution and ROI. Market development strategies will be evaluated to leverage high-potential markets around the globe, while boxing out competitors. These include franchising, licensing, and joint venture in addition to corporate-owned growth supported by liquidity events. 

Backline Studios, LLC (“Holding Company”) is a woman-owned Delaware limited liability company. The Holding Company will be the Sole Member of each location’s LLC. Startup costs for each location are estimated to be $1.1 Million. The capital stack for our first location includes $800,000 secured by the Manager/Principal. Additional investments in the Holding Company are being accepted up to a total of $300,000. Assuming the issuance of an aggregate amount of $300,000 of B Units, the outstanding B Units will represent 15% of the Company’s outstanding membership Units as of the date of the final issuance.
